subTEXT (March 1): Utterances & Images

We'll be reading at subTEXT in March.

The subTEXT literary reading group first started in May 2001, this series of readings was previously hosted at Gallery Hotel and The Book Cafe before it moved to Central Lending Library in September 2005. It has featured local writers as well as international guests.

Programme details as follows:
In the Year of the Boar, subTEXT continues to add literary spice than bore.
Airline captain, Elmo Jayawardena, will read excerpts from his first book,
Sam's Story, while Mei Ching Tan will share from her latest book, Towards
the Blue: Adventures of a City Wimp. Other speakers include Suchen Christine
Lim, prize-winning local author who has penned novels like Fistful of
Colours and A Bit of Earth, and two school teachers, Jasmine Seah and
Jennifer Koh, who collaborated on a new book, Light is Like Water, which
features poems written by Jasmine that are inspired by Jennifer's
photographs.
